NFM EMPLOYEES DEMONSTRATE CULINARY SKILLS

This Christmas season, staff members of the National Flour Mills Limited decided to host their Christmas Lime with a difference, by hosting an Inter-departmental Cookout Competition at their Wrightson road compound on Friday December 11, 2009.

Thirteen departments took part in this exciting event and were judged in areas such as food presentation, booth decoration, team spirit and name of dish.

Some of the dishes prepared were curry duck, curry goat, crab and dumpling, turkey, agouti, pork and bar-b-que chicken.

Judging the competition was head judge, Selwyn Wickham - Chef Lecturer at Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality & Tourism Institute; Charmaine White Clarke - Food and Nutrition Lecturer at the South East P.O.S. Secondary School and former West Indies cricket batsman, Ricardo Powell.
