Trainees of the food preparation, fine dining and home management programme attached to the Gender Affairs Division - Ministry of Planning, Economic and Social Restructuring & Gender Affairs were given the necessary hands-on knowledge and skills on baking by the National Flour Mills Limited on Thursday April 28 at the Chancellor Hotel & Conference Centre, St. Ann’s.

The lecture provided the large group of trainees, particularly male individuals, with the technical skills in food preparation, bread making and dessert baking in preparation for their upcoming food fair and family day carded for Saturday May 14 at the St. John’s Ambulance Hall, Port of Spain

According to the participants, the programme was deemed a success as it will not only better contribute to the development of their own health and baking abilities but enable them to present tasty and well baked goodies at the food fair.
