ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
Key quality characteristics: Average protein content. Milled from hard wheat or a blend of hard and soft wheats. Enriched with iron, thiamine and riboflavin.
Uses: Can be used to make most of the products that special purpose flour can make. It gives the best results for many kinds of products including yeast bread, quick breads, cakes, cookies, pastries and noodles.

BAKERS FLOUR

Key quality characteristics: High protein content. Enriched with B-vitamins and iron.

Uses: Ideal for making all types of bread including French bread, crusty bread,hops, bagels, variety bread, yeast buns and sweet bread. Also ideal for pizza crust and danish pastries.

CAKE FLOUR

Key quality characteristics: Fine-textured, silky flour. Its greater percentage of starch and low protein content keeps cakes and pastries tender and delicate.

Uses: Sponge cakes, layer cakes, pound cakes, muffins. N.B.Not to be used to make Fruit/Black cake.

WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR

Key quality characteristics: High protein flour with wheat germ and bran present to retain fibre and nutrients.

Uses: Perfect for the preparation of bread, bagels, bakes etc

ICING FLOUR

Key quality characteristics: A brilliant white powdered mixture comprising of sugar and Starch.

Uses: Used in the production of decorative coating for cakes and sweet baked products

PARBOILDE RICE

Key quality characteristics: Light brown translucent kernels. Clean in appearance.

Uses: Superb in pilaf, saffron rice, fried rice, etc.

Key quality characteristics: White translucent kernels. Clean in appearance.

Uses: Accompaniment to curries, stews etc. Use strained in infant weaning foods. Used in cold salads, desserts.

SOYA BEAN OIL

Key quality characteristics: Pure, refined oil extracted from selected soybeans. Free from additives, artificial colours and cholesterol.

Uses: Cooking, baking, light frying, mayonnaise, spreads, sauces.

FRYING OIL

Key quality characteristics: Pourable at room temperature thus making it easier to use than the typical solid frying shortenings. Low in saturated fats.

Uses: Specifically recommended for fried snacks, fried bread, potato chips, chicken, doughnuts etc.

LOTUS - CUSTARD POWDER

Characetristics: A powdered mixture composed of starch with added ingredients such as salt, flavor and color

Uses: Ideal for use as fillings for pastry, ice cream, desserts and toppings.
