National Flour Mills Weekend Cookbook Contest

Contest Rules & Conditions:

By participating in National Flour Mill’s Weekend Cookbook Contest, contestants agree to and accept the following Terms & Conditions:

 

  1. The National Flour Mills ‘Weekend Cookbook’ Contest will begin on Wednesday 9th June 2021 at 8pm and will end on Monday 5th July 2021 at 10am
  2. You will have the chance to be one (1) of four (4) lucky winners (one (1) winner each week), to win a hamper sponsored by National Flour Mills Limited
  3. To become a contestant and eligible to win, you must 1) LIKE the National Flours Mills Limited Facebook page, 2) SHARE a photo of your finished dish of that week’s featured recipe in the comment section and 3) INCLUDE the hashtags #NFMWeekendCookbook and #WhatICookedToday within your entry comment
  4. One (1) weekly winner will be chosen by a judging panel from National Flour Mills Limited, based on creative presentation
  5. To enter the contest, National Flour Mills Limited will share one featured recipe carousel post to their Facebook page every Wednesday. You will be required to share a photo of your finished dish of that week’s featured recipe in the comment section under the promotional post. All entries must include the two (2) hashtags #NFMWeekendCookbook and #WhatICookedToday
  6. Every following Monday over the four (4) week period, a representative of National Flour Mills Limited or its advertising agency will announce that week’s winner on the National Flour Mills Limited Facebook page by 4:00 p.m. Each week’s winner will have forty-eight (48) hours to contact National Flour Mills Limited via Facebook inbox/messenger to claim their prize or else it will be awarded to another contestant
  7. National Flour Mills Limited or its advertising agency will contact and inform the winners on the arrangement of collecting their hamper at National Flour Mills Limited’s Head Office
  8. National Flour Mills Limited and its advertising agency shall not be responsible for internet or Wi-Fi connection errors that might occur during this contest
  9. National Flour Mills Limited and its advertising agency shall not be responsible for any glitches or network server error on Facebook
  10. Employees of National Flour Mills Limited, affiliate agencies and their immediate family are not eligible to enter this contest
  11. This promotion is for all National Flour Mills Limited fans worldwide, however if a winner doesn’t reside in Trinidad & Tobago, they must transfer/assign their prize to an immediate family member residing in Trinidad & Tobago

 

  1. Conditions of Entry:
  1. Contestants acknowledge that compliance with the Rules set out above including all eligibility requirements is a necessary pre-condition to any prizes in the ‘Weekend Cookbook’ contest being awarded to them. For removal of all doubt, competitors who have not complied with these Rules are subject to disqualification
  2. National Flour Mills Limited reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the Weekend Cookbook contest at any time, if fraud, technical failures, including any network server or hardware failure, viruses, bugs, errors in programming, or any other errors or other causes beyond the control of National Flour Mills Limited, corrupt the administration, security, integrity or proper running of the competition. In such cases National Flour Mills Limited will inform competitors of such cancellation, modifications or suspensions of the Weekend Cookbook contest via notifications by electronic mail or on the Facebook fan page
  3. National Flour Mills Limited does not warrant that access to or use of any third party’s website will be uninterrupted or free of any of the events stated below, due to the nature of internet services and electronic communications. National Flour Mills is not responsible for any problems that may arise, including but not limited to:
    • lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, or other connection, availability or accessibility problems arising in connection with or over the course of the competition; or
    • communications failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions or hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or
    • failure of personal computers and/or software and hardware configurations, any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of the prizes or in the prize notification; or
    • for any errors of any kind in connection with the promotion, whether human, mechanical, clerical, electronic, or technical in nature; or
    • the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information in connection with the promotion; or
    • any of the above arising from the actions or omissions of any third parties in relation to any aspect of the Lucky Shot contest or the usage of any third-party websites which are not under the control or operated fully by National Flour Mills Limited
  1. Any attempt by a contestant or other individual to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Weekend Cookbook contest, including but not limited to any fraudulent claims, may be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws in the countries where the promotion is being run. Should such an attempt be made, National Flour Mills Limited reserves the right to seek remedies and damages from any such individual, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution and participants engaging in any of the foregoing activities may be disqualified and will forfeit any prizes won
  2. In no event will National Flour Mills Limited be liable for more than the relevant prize available under the Weekend Cookbook contest. In the event of any conflict with any promotion details contained in these Rules and Conditions and promotion details contained in point of sale, television and print, advertising, promotional packaging and other promotional media, (“Promotional Materials”) the details of the promotion set forth in these Rules and Conditions shall prevail
  3. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Rules and Conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. National Flour Mills Limited employees are not authorized to waive, modify or amend any provision or provisions of these Rules and Conditions in any manner whatsoever
  4. All contestants agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by National Flour Mills Limited and consent to the use and disclosure by National Flour Mills Limited in any form of media of their names, likenesses and/or general areas of residence without compensation or further reference
  5. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Contestants understand that they are providing their information to National Flour Mills Limited and not to these platforms. The information they provide will only be used for communicating with winners to awarding them with the prize that they may win
  6. National Flour Mills Limited reserves all rights in the management of the Weekend Cookbook contest
